Welcome to Foxtail Farm!!!! We passionately breed quality in every pairing. We strive to provide a healthy and optimal environment for our animals. Our primary focus is to better the future generations through selective crosses and prioritize correct health traits.
Foxtail Farm values having high standards and strongly support those who have like-minded goals. We believe we are producing the highest caliber offspring and are very proud of our small program. High standard comes from learning and holding ourselves accountable in all regards of breeding. As everyone starts somewhere, Foxtail is here to mentor and guide those new to the breed. We are constantly learning and know that is the best way forward.
Our policy on colts is "Every great stallion makes an even better gelding". We feel the majority of colts are meant to provide families with a safe and loving partner for years of enjoyment as geldings. This also applies to mares. As we all know it takes two to tango. We feel no great horse is the wrong color and by such do not prioritize color in our herd. That said we do understand that you should love the look of your horse and by breeding quality we feel you will always be proud of the horse you purchase from Foxtail Farm.
Our horse's health and wellbeing are always the number 1 priority here at Foxtail Farm. This applies to the homes we select for our babies. You are welcome to schedule a visit and we welcome visitors openly. We do ask that if you're a serious buyer you take the time to explore our site and learn about our practices and what you should expect from us. This will hopefully eliminate any wasted time on either parties' end. We have put great effort into our site and strive to provide any information you may have as to allow you to be certain of your interest in working with us,

Our History |
Foxtail Farm was founded in 2005 when we moved to my centennial family farm. Though the farm has such a history our adventures started then. We decided on the name Foxtail one night while we were burning one of the MANY brush piles. My wonderful Grandparents had very green thumbs. And by that I mean the place was completely incased in trees. I was watching the flames and I said that looks amazing. Darryl said yeah like a foxes tail. I thought Thats It!!!! Foxtail Farm.
We have completed many projects and have even more planned!! The history here is awesome and we look forward to making so many more memories!!!! |
